BELL, Margaret “Ella“ - Ella passed away Sunday September 13th, at Victoria Village, Barrie, Ontario with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Bill Bell, and by sibling Lydia, Marion, Bill, and Peter. Born in Montreal in 1919, Ella was a long time resident of Cambridge, Ontario. The last eight years of her life in Barrie were enriched by good friends, especially Evey Robinson and Ria Vandermast. Ella will be mourned by her children Judy (Guenter) Odlozinski, Terry (Valorie) Bell, Margaret (Jim) Hatchwell, and Bill (Sylvia) Bell. Grandma will be fondly remembered by grandchild Mark, Michael (Lisa), Andrew (Diane), Bridget, Brent (Tatum), Missy, Kyla, and Billy. Gran-Gran will be missed by great-grandsons Jonah, Ethan, Maxwell, Myles, Hunter, James, and Travis. Ella is survived by siblings Ernie, Dorothy, Evelyn, and John. The family wishes to express special thanks to all the staff of Kensington House, Victoria Village Manor, for their compassionate and professional care of Ella and many kindnesses to the family. A memorial mass will be held to celebrate Ella's life on Saturday October 10th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie. Interment in Cambridge will follow at a later date. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made through donations to the Barrie Food Bank or the Arthritis Society.
