Edna Audrey Aileen REED

BASTIEN, Edna Audrey Aileen - Long time Phelps Township resident Audrey Bastien died peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital on Wednesday September 16th, 2009 while in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Phillip, Audrey was the dearly loved mother of Muriel Richer (Michael) of Redbridge, and Gail Johnston (Dave) of Bonfield and the dear step mother of Effie Stevens of Toronto and Gloria Grimshaw of Valemount, B.C. Predeceased by her step children Margaret Reynolds, Phyllis Langman & Reginald & Beatrice Bastien, as well as her brothers Daniel and Arthur Reed. Audrey will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her grandchildren Jean Porter (Scott), Chastity Saudino (Matthew), Sheri Richer- Claeys (Brian), Katie Foreman (fiancé Dustin Douglas) and Justin Foreman (Ashley Turcotte), and her great grandchildren Makaela, Ethan and Haydn Porter, Anthony Saudino & Annastasia & Sebastien Richer-Claeys. She also has numerous nieces and nephews that cared for and will miss her. Audrey was a proud and very active member of the Phelps community. Always eager to help in any way she will be remembered as a good neighbor to her many friends. She was a life time member of Phelps United Church and the Phelps United Church Women. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate he life will be held in Phelps United Church Service Arrangements have not been finalized.
