TESSIER, Effie - At the Versa Care Centre on Monday, September 14, 2009. Effie Stella Tessier, formerly of First Street East at the of age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Tessier. Dear mother of Clifford Tessier (Bibianne) of Cornwall, Marlene Anderson (William) of Victoria, B.C., Anita Parthenais (Gerald), Joan Allaire (Raymond) and Dawn Levac (Donald) all of Cornwall. Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Carman Kyer and the late Sarah (McNamara) Kyer. Predeceased by four sisters, Ella Heard Leroux, Lillian Watters, Eva Larose and Evelyn Ostler and five brothers, Clifford Holmes, Ernest, Howard, Norman and Francis Kyer. Dear sister-in- law of Elsie Kyer of Cornwall and Grace Tessier of Orleans. Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 2 p.m. Friday. Funeral Saturday, September 19, 2009 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Interment, Nativity Parish Cemetery.
