HAJDU, James (Jim) - of Welland passed away at the Welland General Hospital on Tuesday September 15, 2009 at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jean. Dear father of Jim (Mary), Jane (Andy) and Nancy (Bruce). Loving grandfather of David, Kevin, Brian, Amy and Kyle. Proud great grandfather of Brayden and Colton. He is also survived by his brother Caesar (Pearl), his sisters Irene Costanza and Helen Berg (Benjamin) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Julius and Agnes Hajdu, his brother Frank and his brother-in-law Joe Costanza. Jim retired from John Deere. He was an avid golfer, he enjoyed curling and dancing. His greatest love was his family. At Mr. Hajdu's request, Cremation has taken place. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday September 19, 2009 at 11 o'clock. A private interment of his Cremated Remains will take place at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Building Fund may be made through J.J.
