HALLIDAY, Earl - Peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services on Thursday morning, September 17th, 2009. William Earl Halliday, of Owen Sound and formerly of R.R.#3, Chatsworth, in his 83rd year. Loving father of Dianne Snyder and her husband, Jim, of Walkerton, Delynn Deveaux and her husband, Glen, of London, Heather McTaggart and her husband, Ron, of Waterloo, Janice Van Osch and her husband, Morris, of Lucknow and Nancy Halliday and her husband, Rick Falardeau, of Stratford. Proud grandfather of Danielle, Sara, Curtis, Karla, Meghan, Nicole, Lindsay, Greg, Jill, Peter, Kent, Ryan, Evan and Larissa. Earl will be sadly missed by his sister, Audrey Spence and her husband, Kenneth, of Leith and his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, John and Blanche Halliday: his sister, Phyllis Dinsmore and her husband, Thomas; his great-niece, Marci Fenwick. Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 - 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K - 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Earl Halliday will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Allan Barr officiating. Interment in Annan Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lutheran Social Services (St. Francis Place Wellness Program) as your expression of sympathy.
