MILLIGAN, Janet - Peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her life partner Erin Evans of Bass Lake, Orillia, son Jeffery Milligan of Berlin, Germany and daughter Susan Milligan (Colin) of Barrie. She will be missed by her brothers Chris (Deitra) and David (Heidi) as well as many nieces and nephews. Janet dedicated her nursing career to serving the residents of several Long Term Care facilities in Simcoe County including her present position with the Bob Rumball Home for the Deaf in Barrie. Special thanks to Dr. Devon Bhatt, Dr. Mary Cambridge and the Nursing staff on Soldiers II (OSMH) for their dedicated care and compassion. Following cremation, friends and relatives may call at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Saturday, September 19th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held in the chapel Sunday afternoon, September 20th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
