SIMON, Stanley Stephen - Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, September 17, 2009. Beloved husband of Rosalie for 47 years. Dear father of Jim (Laura). Grandfather of Christopher, Stephen, Michael, Matthew and David. Son of the late Karol and Rosalia Simon. Predeceased by his sister Mary Ribic (Joe) and his brothers Herb (Shirley) and Karl (Ann). Dear brother of Rose Pistor (Lino), George, Virginia Ford, Joseph, Bernadette Hilderley (Roy) and Janis Schnablegger (Walter). Son-in-law of the late Jim and Mary Sanko. Brother-in-law of John Sanko (Toni), Jim Sanko and the late Patricia Sanko. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his many friends. Family and friends may call at the ARTHUR FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 6-9 pm, prayers at 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 10 am. Rev. Michael Bennett officiating.
