BEACOCK, Ralph - of Wiarton, peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services Wiarton on Thursday, September 17th, 2009. Ralph Stewart Beacock in his 86th year. Loving husband and best friend of the former Ada Caroline Balls for 60 years. Devoted father of Carol and her husband Dave Greig, of Wiarton. Cherished grandfather of Daena Greig and her husband Gabriel Gatto, of Kuwait, and Laura Greig and her friend Ricky Lal, of Toronto. Brother of Evelyn Beacock, of Toronto, Mary (John Aiken), of Markham, Wes Beacock (Shirley), of RR#2 Wiarton, Bernice Beacock, of Toronto, Marjorie Walser, of Elora, and Mike Beacock (Evelyn), of Forest; and brother-in-law of Bill Balls (Hilda), of Wiarton. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bert and Annie; brothers Charles and his wife Betty, and Russel and his wife Clara; sisters Muriel and her husband Wilfred Pruder, and Ruby and her husband Bill Downing; brother-in-law Stewart Balls and his wife Katie; and sister- in-law Jean Beacock. Ralph was a proud member of Spirit Rock Lodge #312 IOOF since 1948, and Unity Rebekah Lodge #147 Wiarton. Family invite friends to gather with them at the THOMAS C. WHITCROFT PENINSULA CHAPEL, 272 Berford St., Wiarton (519) 534-5341 on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, where a service celebrating Ralph's life will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. David Leggatt officiating. Interment in Bayview Cemetery. Members of Spirit Rock Lodge #312 IOOF, and Unity Rebekah Lodge #147 Wiarton will conduct a memorial service Saturday evening at 6:45 pm.
