ROBERTO, Angela (nee Fazzalari) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Welland Hospital at the age of 81, with her family at her side. She was a loving mother, and grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who loved her. Beloved wife of the late Vincent James ÒJimÓ Roberto (2006) for 59 years. Dear mother of Mary Ann Mete (Patrick), Kathy Tassinari (late Tass) and Verna Jane Totten (Jim). Her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Totten and Michael Totten (Annemarie), were the lights of her life. Survived by her sisters-in-law Jennie Roberto and Betty Roberto. Predeceased by her parents Verna and John Fazzalari and son-in-law Tass. She was a devoted member of St. Mary's Church and the CWL. Angela was an avid reader and a member of the Welland Public Library since she was 5 years old. At Angela's request there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to St. Mary's Church where Angela's uncle and childhood friend Rev. Joseph Ingrao, CSC will celebrate the Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Rite of committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Kidney Foundation may be arranged at J.J.
