Issac MAMAKWA

Mamakwa, Issac 2009-09-25 Mr. Issac Saggius Mamakwa, age 67 years, passed away peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Issac was born in Big Trout Lake on March 7, 1942. He will be lovingly remembered by his family; wife of 45 years Ina, children; Connie Beardy (Leon), Harriet Sturgeon (Edward), Don (Emily), Rachel Mamakwa (Rod), Theresa Mamakwa and Dexter, numerous grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Issac is also survived by his mother Sarah Mamakwa, brother John Gregg (Kanesia), sister Madeline Mamakwa and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. He was predeceased by his father Jacob, brother Barnabus Gregg and grandson Donavon. Family and friends are invited to gather at Jenkens Funeral Home on Friday, September 25, 2009 from 6 - 7 p.m. when a celebration of Issac’s life will be led by Pastor William Morris. Transfer to Kasabonika First Nation will follow and a funeral service will be held there on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Full Gospel Church. Interment in St. Mark’s Cemetery.
