LEMOS, Maria G. - peacefully passed away into the hands of God on September 21, 2009, at the Brantford General Hospital. Maria was in her 93rd year. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Domingos Lemos. Loving mother to Jose (Bernadet), Domingos (Filomena), Maria Filomena (Leonel) Bettencourt, Osvaldo (Fatima) and Alda Maria (Artur) Lima. Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister-in-law Irene Sequeira and her many extended family members. A special thank you to the staff of the John Noble Home. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m., with Rosary prayers in the evening. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, on Thursday, September 24, 2009 (time to be announced at visitation).
