CASSELMAN, Merle - Suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, Merle Casselman of R.R.# 1 Morrisburg, age 72. Loving husband of Norma Roderick. Dear father of Elaine (Jim) Fry of Kelowna, B.C., Janet Duval (George Desjardins) of Cornwall, Steven (Cora) of Williamsburg, Nancy Casselman of Kelowna, B.C., Angie Page of R.R.# 1 Morrisburg and Cathy Loucks (Howard Robinson) of Prescott. Merle will be fondly remembered by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a son Merle Jr. and a brother Ronald. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the MARSDEN AND MCLAUGHLIN FUNERAL HOME, Williamsburg, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, September 26th at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. Interment of cremated remains will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Morrisburg. Donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
