BAKER, Patricia Celina (nee Angelillo) - On Tuesday September 22nd, 2009 at Millennium Trail Manor, Niagara Falls, Ontario, peacefully, with loved ones by her side in her 96th year. Born in Montreal, Quebec on September 26th, 1913, Patricia was retired from Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), Beneficial Finance and H&R Block. She then started her own accounting business and prepared tax returns for seniors pro bono. She loved art and was a member of the Niagara District Art Association. Patricia was an avid traveler, reader, gardener and cook. Her house was always full of friends, family and laughter. She was known to reach out to anyone in need. Beloved wife of Norman James Baker (predeceased), dear mother of Jacqueline and her husband Robert Lonergan, loving grandmother of Christine Leonard and husband Paul Pooler of London, Tom Leonard and wife Belle of Mississauga, Patricia Leonard and husband Lindsay Webb of Burlington and Kelli Semark and husband Adam of Niagara Falls. She was a much adored great grandmother of Benjamin and Simon Pullia, Claire Pooler, Ava, Chloe, Sasha, Delcan, Liam and Kate Leonard, Rachele, Madeline and Daniel Webb, and Emily and Ryan Semark. Pat was sister to Joe Angelillo, Mary Harmer, Rita Draper, Yvette Brooks and Alice Sterns- all predeceased and sister-in-law to Pat Baker of Alberta and Myrtle Baker of California. She was a loving aunt to Donna Bishop, Wayne Harmer, Paulette Perlman, Yvettte Robins, Patrick Gabris, Mike and John Baker, Barbara Schol, Joanne Richardson and Bonnie, Debbie and Paul Baker. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Scapular Church on Thorldstone Road on Thursday October 1st at 11 a.m. A reception to celebrate a life well-lived will be held in the church hall immediately after. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Millennium Trail Manor.
