NIEMI, James Souter 2009-10-02 Mr. James Souter Niemi, age 64 years, of Thunder Bay passed away in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. James was born in Lossiemouth, Scotland on May 22, 1945. As a child, he immigrated to Canada with his mother and later settled in Thunder Bay. He was employed by BoWater for almost thirty years. James enjoyed camping at Mirror Lake for many years. James is survived by his wife Sandra; step-sons: Garrison and Jason (Heather); brother Bob (Judy); and niece Kerri (Chad). He was predeceased by his parents Vic and Kitty; nephew Robert; and first wife Betty. Cremation has taken place and Funeral Services for the late James Niemi will be held on Saturday, October 3rd , 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Ivany. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the time of Service. Interment to take place in St. Andrew‘s Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
