BURKE, Edward Joseph 2009-10-03 In Loving Memory of Edward Joseph John Burke 76 years Wednesday, September 30th, 2009 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site. Beloved husband of Lucille (Beaucage) Burke of Killarney. Loving father of Carol (Roland Roque), Darcy (Sandra) and Joe (Susan) of Killarney, Barb (Perry Roque) of Brandon, Manitoba, Rick and Irene (Gilles Therrien) of Sudbury, and the late Susan and Irene both predeceased. Loving grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Dear son of Edward Burke Sr. and Hattie (Tyson) both predeceased. Dear brother of Viola (Garnet Beaucage), Sandy (Vivian) and Billy (Kelly) of Killarney. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born in Killarney, Edward drove the mail truck for Manitoulin Transport for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and boating. Edward was a leader, a man devoted to his community. He will be lovingly remembered as a thoughtful and generous man who kept a good sense of humour. Resting at the Killarney Bay Inn Funeral Mass in St. Bonaventure Church, Killarney, Ontario on Monday, October 5th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Killarney Cemetery.
