Ray, Wendy 1962-2004 The family announces with great sorrow her accidental death on Wednesday December 29th, 2004 at the age of 42. Survived by her sons Jack Pluta (Tammy Harper) and Lance Pluta (Amanda Gaudet), both of Timmins, by the father ofher sons Nick Pluta of Cornwall, by her parents Edgar Ray (Jean Smith) of Thunder Bay and Theresa Jefferson (Paul) of Terrace Bay, by 4 sisters Linda Blake (Dave Famme) of Fenelon Falls, Cynthia Langford (Bob) of Salmon Arm, B.C., Michele Garneau (Rene) of Schreiber, Lisa Ray (Paul Tilley) of Timmins and by her brother Tom Ray of Port CoQuitlam, B.C.. Also survived by her brother-in-law Tony Menezes and numerous nieces and nephews. She was very devoted to her career as a Community Development Officer with Mamo-Wichi-Hetiwin and working with the First Nations people. A memorial service will be held on Thursday January 6th, 2005 at 11 am at the Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church in Schreiber with Father Anthony Fujarczuk officiating. Remembrance donations made to the Humane Society will be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangement are in the care of Maison funéraire Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home.
