HENDERSON, James Shannon "Jamie" Peacefully, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Tuesday September 15th, 2009 at age 65. Dear brother of Janet Millen (David) and Mary Henderson and fondly remembered by his cherished nephews Christopher (Tarah) and Graeme Millen. James had a warm and caring soul, a wonderful intellectual curiosity and hugely entertaining sense of humour. He was an educator, volunteer and raconteur, comfortable in the company of people of all ages and from all walks of life. His stories, wit and ever colourful opinions will be missed by loving friends and family in Ottawa and across the country. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Monday September 21st from 1:30pm to 3:00 pm with words of remembrance at 2:30pm.
