De JESUS, Fausta (nee Dias de Alem) It is with profound sadness we announce that Fausta passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at the age of seventy-six, after a lengthy debilitating illness. She is forever loved and deeply missed by her husband Egualdino, her children Julia (Normand), Tony (Lina), Alexandra, Susan (Stefano), her cherished grandchildren Genevieve (Danial), Marc-Andre (Ana), Connor, Tyler, Serena, Alexander and Gabriel and proud great-grandma to Samuel and Nathan. She was a loving sister to her brother Manuel (Delmina), sisters Maria Fatima (late Fernando), Maria Conceicao (Celso). She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews, her brothers and sisters-in-law, her family and friends. We are grateful to the staff of the Jewish General Hospital for her care and especially to Dr. Chang and Dr. Ohata. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Michael Dworkind for his counsel and dedication to his long-time patient, Fausta. She is resting at: Visitation Sunday, September 20 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service at Santa Cruz Church, 60 Rachel Street West, Montreal on Monday, September 21 at 10 a.m. and thence to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to a reception to be held at Alfred Dallaire where she rested.
