ARNOTT, Robert Donald "Don" July 15, 1927 - September 19, 2009 Don passed away peacefully at the Hospice at May Court surrounded by his loving family. Don resided in Burlington, Ontario for most of his life, moving to Ottawa in 2006. Beloved husband of Shirley for 58 years. Loving father of David, Mark (Kelly) and Adam (Dananthi). Cherished Poppa to Michael, Matthew, Kokila and Kenzie. Predeceased by parents Robert and Winifred, sister Roberta and sister-in-law Audrey (Dennis). Fondly remembered by brothers Russell (Sally), Dennis, and sisters Sonnia (Mike) and Verla (Bill). Don was an active member of the construction industry for 60 years, working with E.S. Martin, Campeau Corporation and finally 17 years with 20 Vic Management Corporation. Special thanks to Janet and Brian of Bayshore Community Care for their support and compassion. Deepest gratitude to the staff at the Hospice at May Court for their outstanding care. In keeping with Don's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
