To Bill, the Railroad was his life. As a boy, Bill dreamed of being a railroad conductor, a dream he saw come to fruition. Bill began his railroading career in his teens, and developed abilities to the level of, fireman, then he became a brakeman for a time, before realizing his boyhood dream of being a railroad conductor for Canadian Pacific. Bill didn't just simply love the railroad ...he LIVED the railroad. In 1993, Bill had decided to retire from the railroad, so that he could spend more time with his family, and enjoy life in Gods Country, at his beloved Gemmill Hunting Camp. Bill's legacy of love, dedication and integrity will live on through the lessons he taught his children.
