Beryl Betty CHISHOLM

MOIR, Beryl Betty (nee Chisholm) Went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Friday, September 18, 2009 in her 85th year. Betty was the beloved wife of Frank Moir. She was the mother of Paul (Denise) and grandma of Jamie Lee. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Ruby Chisholm, and her brothers Wayne (Phylis Hill) and William. Mourned by her sisters Ruth Corbett (Douglas), Mildred Laurin (the late Marcel) and Faith Townesend (John) and her nieces and nephews. Betty was a faithful member of Alta Vista Baptist Church for many years. Her gentle warmth and grace will be fondly remembered by all who knew her, including her co-workers in the Dept. of Agriculture, Experimental Farm. Friends are invited to visit the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Conner Street) Ottawa, ON Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel Thursday at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in the McGarry Family Reception Centre. Interment Merivale Cemetery. Thanks to the caring staff at Pine and Willows Houses, Peter D. Clark Long-Term Care Centre.
