HUNTER, Ronald Dale Marking the end of an era Dale Hunter passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, September 20th, 2009 at the Hospice at May Court. Dale was 71 years of age. Beloved husband of Colleen Hunter. Loving father of Belinda (Hunter) Manuel. Cherished father-in-law of Fred Manuel. Dear brother-in-law of Larry Suitter (Mona Suitter), Maureen Suitter-Chevalier (Chris Chevalier). Dale leaves behind his loving nieces and nephews Holly Suitter (Scott), Lawrence Suitter (Chelsey), Chris Suitter (Jackie), Laura (Suitter) Haviland (Shawn) and Tim Suitter (Jodie). Family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Hospice at May Court. Dale leaves behind a legacy of hope and gratitude to all who knew him. He was never without a smile, a kind word and the willingness to listen and help others. He was a true friend to those who knew him, an example to those who looked up to him and a beacon of light to those who truly sought his assistance. He will be truly missed. Though we mourn his passing it is with deep love, admiration and respect that we remember the gentle soul that touched our hearts and lives. We will honour the life and times of Dale Hunter Wednesday where friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Barrhaven from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
