MERSON, Mildred "Mitzi" (nee Segal) Peacefully at the Hillel Lodge on Sunday, September 20th, 2009. Dear daughter of the late Bernard Segal and the late Yetta Schwartz. Loving mother of Dee Gaffen (Yale) and Jim (Leonna). Survived by her three grandchildren: Wesley, Audra and Kristy. Pre-deceased by her two sisters Rebecca Albert, Ruth Kalman and her Godson Marvin Albert. A Graveside Service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Gardens, Bank Street on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 11 a.m. Dee will be observing Shiva at 4 Atkinson Gate, Ottawa on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. while Jim will be observing Shiva at 211 Wurtemburg Street Apt: 212, Ottawa on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In memory of Mitzi, memorial contributions to the Hillel Lodge, 10 Nadolny Sachs Private, Ottawa, Ontario K2A 4G7 would be appreciated by the family.
