Hilda Rosa HARTENBERGER

WAHL , Hilda Rosa October 19, 1923 - September 16, 2009 On September 16, 2009 Hilda Wahl passed away peacefully at the age of 85 in Creston, B.C. Although Hilda will be missed by those who are left behind, they rejoice that she is now at peace with her Lord and Savior. Hilda will be lovingly remembered by her six children; Rita (Tom) Skeith, Barbara (Terry) Shaw, Debbie (Neil) Munch, Christine (Mike) Magee, Steve (Kim) Wahl and Patricia (Bill) Kobsar. Hilda also had fourteen grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Irma in Sweden and many nieces, nephews and cousins in Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, U.S.A. and Canada. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Leo Wahl on July 3, 2008, her parents Rosa and Rudolph Hartenberger, her two brothers Max and Fritz and two sisters Marie and Charlotta. Hilda was born on October 19, 1923 in Sedlidz, Germany. She came to Canada in 1954 and resided in Calgary until 1996 when she retired to Vernon, B.C. After the passing of her husband she moved to Creston. Public Visitation will be held Friday, September 25, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Hilda's Life to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME.
