Joseph L. HARRISON

HARRISON, Joseph L. (Joe) February 18, 1920. Peacefully at home, Ottawa, on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Fran and of the late Mary. Dear father of David and the late Robert Hugh and Jonathan. Predeceased by brothers Mark and Samuel. Joe was a Squadron Leader in the R.C.A.F., and had a distinguished career in the Aircraft Department of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Commerce. After his retirement from Public Service he continued working as a private consultant between government and the private sector. Private cremation. A Celebration of Joe's life will be held for family and friends at his residence on Sunday, October 4 at 2 p.m. Special thanks to the nursing staff of the Rockcliffe Retirement Residence and to Dr. Harold Fireman.
