HOLLY, Joseph E. 21 May 1936 - 22 September 2009 At the Hospice at May Court. Dear husband and best friend of Marion. Loving dad to Jo Ann and her husband Lucien Duhaime and Edward "Ted" and his wife Jennifer (Levesque). Adored Grampy to Brooklyn and Cooper Holly. Survived by his brother Thomas Patrick Holly and his wife Betty of Whitby, his sister Rita Harrington and her husband Paul of Oshawa and by his brother-in-law George "Bud" Fowles. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Carmel Holly, his sister Margaret Fowles and by his brother John Andrew Holly. Special thank you to the Community Palliative Care Doctors who devoted so much time looking after Joe, all of the Bayshore Nursing Staff, especially Linda and Ellen and an extra special thank you to Louisa from We Care and all the staff of the Hospice at May Court who made Joe's stay so comfortable. Thank you to all of our neighbours and friends who made the time easier with food, visits and phone calls. Friends may pay respects at a visitation in memory of Joe at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Service in Memory on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
