VAN FOSSEN, Richard W. (Dick) Professor Emeritus, University of Toronto 1927 - 2009 In the presence of family, on September 22 at the Jewish General Hospital, of pneumonia, following several years of Alzheimer's disease. Dick is survived by his wife Ann (Fryer) Van Fossen, his sister Mary Van Fossen, his son David Phelps Van Fossen and daughter-in-law Kirsten Bakis, his daughter Rachael Ione Van Fossen and son-in-common-law Gordon Fisch, and his grandchildren Caitlin Van Fossen, Elijah Fisch, and Theo and Charlotte Bakis Van Fossen. Dick's family and friends will miss him dearly. Funeral service Saturday, September 26, 2 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Anglican Church, Sherbrooke Street West in NDG.
