HARRIS , Barbara Ann (nee Jordan) March 25, 1937 - September 21, 2009 Barbara was born in Flint, Michigan and lived there for twenty years until she was swept off her feet by the love of her life, Darrell. Together, they built a life in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and raised a family of five boys and a girl. In 1972 the family moved to Calgary, Alberta, then to Airdrie, Alberta in 1974. While Darrell built a career with Sears, Barbara raised the kids and took on a few part-time jobs and really enjoyed working at the mushroom factory in Airdrie and then in Crossfield and had a great relationship with her many co-workers. When her son, Timothy had a serious accident in 1986, she then became a full-time nurse, mother and best friend to Tim and cared and worried over him for twenty years. When Tim passed in 2006, her health began to deteriorate until she passed in her sleep at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Darrell; sons, Steven (Cindy) Harris, Dennis (Nancy) Harris, Jeffrey (Jody) Harris, Michael Harris and daughter Patricia Ann Harris; her grandchildren, Jordan (Vickie) Harris, David (Janelle) Harris, Stephanie Harris, Heather (Chris) Yates, Courtney (Jeffrey) Andresen, Kimberlee Harris, Chad Harris, Alex Harris, Carla (Ryan) Pocock; great-grandchildren, Carter Harris, Brice, Logan and Hayden Yates, Brody and Reece Pocock; and her three brothers from Michigan, Lawrence Jordan, Thomas (Brenda) Jordan and Daniel (Coy) Jordan and sister-in-law Dona (Harold) Sickles from Missouri, and numerous other relatives in the US and Canada. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Leo Jordan, sister-in-law Patricia Jordan, grandson Matthew Harris, and her baby boy, Timothy Andrew Harris.
