MANSFIELD, Morag Ruthven (nee Ramsay) (1943 - 2009) Loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many, Morag passed away in Ottawa on September 22nd after a tragic fall at the cottage she loved. Happily married for 39 years and best friend to Brian. She will be deeply missed by daughters Fiona, Alison and Jennifer and their spouses John, Jeff and Andrew. Loving grandmother of Aiden, Sophie and Kivrin. Born in Glasgow, Scotland to the late William and Jean Ramsay; sister to Anne and husband Ian. Morag will be fondly remembered by all as a treasured, caring friend and teacher with a passion for life and a deep love for children and nature. Her spirit will be with us always. In celebration of Morag's life, a gathering of friends and family will be held at the St Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry at 1200 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa on September 30th from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. A service will be held at Rothwell United Church, 42 Sumac Street, Ottawa, on October 1st at 1pm. All those who had the good fortune to know and love Morag are welcome to attend.
