GAREAU , Hilda Josephine 1912 - 2009 Hilda Josephine Gareau was born May 22, 1912 in Ewing, Alberta and passed away in Ponoka on September 23, 2009 at the age of 97 years. Hilda was predeceased by her husband George, sons Leonard and Joe and grandson Harold Hunt, five sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her daughter Shirley Clements (Alvin), Ponoka; grandson David Clements, Ponoka; granddaughter Carla Buffalo (Ron), Hobbema; granddaughter Joanne Anderson, Maple Ridge, BC; grandson Russell Anderson, Crawford Bay, BC; grandson Dean Hunt, Sechelt, BC; great-grandchildren Jodi Ellen, Sarah Jo and Carly Buffalo, Shane West, Tasha Clements, Charles, Jake, Benjamin and Kate Anderson, Christopher, Brian and David Hunt; great-great-grandchildren Emily and Gillian Ellen; sister Edith Boswell, brother Elmer Hedstrom and best friend Claudette Matthews, Calgary.
