Carolyn SWORDS

STURGESS, Carolyn "Gully" (nee Swords) It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gully on September 13th, 2009 at 39 years of age. She will be forever loved and admired by her family: caring husband Kelly; two sons Matthew and Mason; parents, Marty and Bev; sister and two brothers, Janet (husband Jeff, sons William and Isaac), Tim (Kimberly Turner) and sister-in-law Tannis ( sons Benton and Jaden), Shawn (wife Shelley, daughters Syla and Savannah); mother-in-law, Kathy Sturgess (the late Allen), brother-in-law Dan (wife Sheila, sons Scott and Jimmy), sister-in law Leah; grandparents Vee and Moe Swords, Marie Beazley (the late George). She will be remembered affectionately and inspirationally by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Gully lived her life to the fullest. She excelled in athletics, academics, relationships and most importantly motherhood. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life event in Ottawa starting at 6 pm on Friday October 2, 2009 at the Sala San Marco Banquet Hall located at 215 Preston Street.
