John Jan EDEN

OBITUARY JOHN JAN EDEN Born on April 11, 1926 in Vienna, Austria. Died tragically on September 14, 2009 in Oakville, Ontario. He lived in Winnipeg, Montreal and retired to Oakville, Ontario. Mr. Eden had a long and successful career at Air Canada. He was the head of Engineering, Maintenance, and Cargo departments. He finished his career in Air Canada as the director of the 50th anniversary celebration. He retired from Air Canada in 1986, after which he was involved at IATA and other airline educational courses worldwide. He was very educated with a Masters of Science from the University of London, England in Jet Engineering. He had a great work ethic and high standards in the completion of his work. He always helped his fellowman. He has left behind many legacies to the next of kin. Positive thought, the importance of education, helping others, importance in fitness, diet and sport. He always stated you must be responsible for yourself in this world. He leaves behind, his loving wife Vera Eden, his son William Eden, his daughters Sandra Eden and Linda Litvack nee Eden. William Eden is married to Gloria Eden with children, Anthony, Remy and Elyse of Vancouver, B.C. Linda Litvack is married to Bruce Litvack with children Emily and Tara Litvack of Montreal, Quebec.
