IRVING, James Ronald 1929-2009 Passed away peacefully on September 23, 2009. Ron is survived by his loving wife Wendy (nee Pollard) and his adoring daughters Pamela (Jeffery Moskaluk), Jennifer (Brian King) and Lori-Ann (Steven Wiggins). Ron will be greatly missed by his cherished grandchildren Stephanie, Katie, Jonathan, Michael, Andrew, Sarah, Taylor, Jon, Daniel and Caroline. A successful entrepreneur, a lover of golf, skiing and sailing, and a fun-loving spirit who attracted many loyal friends, Rons' greatest happiness and tears of joy came from being with Wendy and their family. Ron's kind and loving soul will be greatly missed. He will be remembered forever and cherished by those who knew him best. Ron's family sends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at New Vista and Seton Villa for the care and personal attention that they so generously provided for Ron. A memorial service to honor Ron's life, and celebrate his memories, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 3 at Forest Lawn 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby BC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Ron's honour to the Parkinson Society of Canada, 4211 Yonge St, Suite 316, Toronto, ON, M2P 2A9.
