OBITUARY JOHN VASSILIOU 1938 - 2009 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John, beloved husband and best friend of Afroditi, on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at home. Sadness fills the hearts of his children Lambros (Angela), Despina (George), and Polyxeni. His granchildren Aphrodite, Maria-Irini, Christina, Adoni and John miss their Papou. John leaves to mourn his brother Dino (Dina), his sisters Adonia, Eleni (Elias), and Stella (Yianni), his brother-in-law Alex (Eleni), his nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. He was devoted to his family and his generosity knew no bounds. He will live in our hearts forever. Visitation will take place at Alfred Dallaire funeral home, 7200 Newman Blvd., LaSalle on Monday, September 28, 2009 from 4 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Dionysios Orthodox Church, 7707 LaSalle Blvd., LaSalle on Tuesday, September 29 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in John's memory to St. Dionysios Orthodox Church.
