Guido PADOVAN

PADOVAN, Guido Co-founder and lifetime member of the St. Anthony's Italia Soccer Club Peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Antonietta L. Loving father to Antonio (Pasqualina), Claudio (Patrizia), and Roberto (Lucia). Will be greatly missed by his 15 grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his cousin Rosetta (Ben Battistella). Brother in law to Antonio Bernardi (Genoveffa), Anna (Gianni Cocco), Natalino Bernardi (Wanda) and residing in Italy, Gino Bernardi (Bruna) and Giorgio Bernardi (Daniella). He will be dearly missed by his extended family in Italy. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home 585 Somerset St. West (Centretown) on Tuesday September 29, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-9pm. A mass of Christian burial will be said at Madonna Della Risurrezione Church, 1621 Fisher Ave., Wednesday at 10am. Entombment at Capital Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Ottawa Civic Hospital and the home care staff. Donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation, "Civic Campus" or a charity of choice appreciated.
