WHITMORE, Helen Lorene At the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday, September 26th, 2009. Helen Lorene Knapp, age 78 of Frankville. Beloved wife of the late James Whitmore. Loving mother of Barbara Hamilton (Wilbert) of RR 4 Brockville, Shirley Whitmore of Addison, Gary Whitmore (Pat) of Frankville, Carolyn Whitmore (James Young) of McAllan, Texas, Katherine Whitmore of Brockville, Julia Whitmore, Deborah Latimer (Robert McArthur), Joseph Whitmore and Michelle Whitmore, R.N., all of Frankville. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Verla Johnston (George) of Athens and Mary Crummy of Oakville. Predeceased by one grandson, Jason Haggett and one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Whitmore, as well as 2 sisters and 3 brothers, Velma Knapp in infancy, Rita Peterson (Art) of Maitland, Claire Knapp (Mavis) and Jim Knapp all of Plum Hollow and Charles Knapp of Smiths Falls, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Leonard Knapp and the former Laura Moulton. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Judson Funeral Home, Athens, on Monday evening, September 28th, from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church, Athens on Wednesday, September 30th at 11 am. Interment Plum Hollow Cemetery.
