GREIG , D. Ross Ross Greig, beloved husband of Violet, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 27, 2009. He will be missed by his sons Bob (Kim), Warren (Candace), Murray (Kim), and Neil (Connie); his grandchildren Sam, Alexandra, Zackary, Mitchell, and Carys as well as his brother-in-law Allen Meyer. He was predeceased by his sisters Reta and Agnes. Ross was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and moved to Calgary in 1971 where he worked as an accountant for many years. Ross will be remembered most for his outgoing personality and the stories about sports or politics that he would regale to his friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ross's name to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta T2N 1Z6. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (703 Heritage Drive S.W.).
