Rita FISHER

PENASSE, Rita - was born July 16, 1925 and passed away peacefully at home with family on Sept 26, 2009. Our most giving and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend slipped from our arms to enter forever peace. Her laughter and smile will never leave our memories. Loving wife of the late George Penasse (1992). She is survived by brothers Arthur Fisher (Nila) of Garden Village, Alfred Fisher of Thunder Bay and a sister Marlene Barnes (Gerry predeceased) of Garden Village. Rita is predeceased by her parents Harriet and John Fisher, sister Milfred Macdougall (Bernard), brother Joseph Fisher (Gert), granddaughter Karen Burkett, and great-grandchild William Nicol. Cherished mother of Louise Parkinson of Mississauga, Tina Restoule (Earl) of Dokis, Margaret Penasse-Mayer (Cyd) of Garden Village, Karen Penasse (Gerald) of Garden Village, Marilyn Long (Doug) of Edmonton, Jane Parkinson (Bernard) of Cambridge, Ellie Penasse (Rick) of Garden Village, Henry Penasse of Garden Village, Mike Penasse (Louise) of Garden Village, and Raymond Penasse (Cheri) of Garden Village. Gokomis will be sadly missed by her 29 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. The family will hold visitation at 475 Ted Commanda Drive, Garden Village on Monday, Sept 28, 2009 from 2-4 pm, and 7-9 pm, and on Tuesday, Sept 29, 2009 from 2-4 pm, and 7-9 pm. Mass to be held Sept 30, 2009 at the Holy Spirit Church in Garden Village. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
