CHAMPION, Dilys Barbara (nee Edwards) - Peacefully on Monday, September 28th, 2009 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Charles William (1999). Loving mother of Llew (Peggy) Champion and Bill (Elizabeth) Champion. Loved grandmother of Robert (Natalie), James, Heather (Michael) Mambella, David (Stephanie), Barbara (Ryan) Andrews. Great grandmother of James, Sarah Jane, Andrew Mambella, Robert, Catherine, Charles, Matthew Champion, Gabriel, Max Andrews. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Friday from 10:00-11:00am. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, October 2nd at 11:00am. Interment at Smith Street Cemetery, Welland. If so desired, donations to the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated by the family.
