Donald MACLAREN

MACLAREN, Donald Peacefully, at home on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 in his 90th year. He was predeceased by his sons Duncan in 1979 and Rodney in 2007. Don is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joy (nee Harvie), his son Charlie (Ciddy) and their children Jennifer, Peter and Jill, by Rodney's children Geordie (Tara), Sonie Skogerson (Dirk), James (Heidi), Stuart and Heather, and by his great-grandchildren Alexa, Kaelan and Duncan. A private family service will be held. Friends are invited to attend a reception at 3 p.m., on Sunday, October 4, in Maclaren Hall of Ashbury College, 362 Mariposa Avenue, Ottawa. Please use the Glenwood entrance. A special and grateful thank you to the staff at Retire at Home who took such good care of Don.
