TOLL, Norman Amos (Retired from National Research Council) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Amos Toll on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his wife Thelma "Betty" (nee Scharf). Loving father of Norma (John) Cameron, Lorne (Karen) Toll, Marlene (Paul) Latour, Floyd (Juliette Desrosiers) Toll, and Heather (Robert Fife) Toll. Special grandfather of Todd, Daryl (Jennifer), Jacqueline, Adrianna, Kaylie and Chloe. Special great-grandfather of Olivia and Ava. Predeceased by mother Daisy (nee Montgomery) and father David Amos Toll. Predeceased by sisters Lillian, Leotta (late Gordon), Vera (late Eckland) and brothers Leslie (late Iva), Orval (Iva) and Arnold (Evelyn). Survived by sister Marjorie (Keith) and brothers Gordon (Beverley) and Roy (Helen). Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, October 5 at 11 a.m. Private interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
