HARRIMAN, George - Passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday October 1, 2009 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 51 years to Arleen (Watson) Harriman. Dearly loved father of Dean Harriman and his wife Sharon and the late Diane Bosnak (2003) and her husband Myles. Cherished grandfather of Teanna and Cody Bosnak, Marlee and James Harriman. Dear brother of Bob (Pat) Harriman of Airdrie, Alberta, Karen (Bob) Kramp of Florida and John (Barbara) Harriman of Niagara Falls. Dear son-in-law of Lillian Feeley. He is survived by his sister- in-law Shirley (Ron) Gore and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Harriman had worked at H.G. Acres for thirty eight years and then at Schwindt Engineering in Burlington where he retired after fifteen years of service. He was an active volunteer at the Y.M.C.A. for many years and he also enjoyed fishing and was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
