Born in East Bideford on January 5, 1922, daughter of the late Bayfield and Thelma (Hayden) Murphy. Cherished mother of Marie Parry, Ellerslie; Stewart (Gail), Pembroke, Ont.; Tom (Karen), Port Hill; and Judy Casey, East Bideford. Mother-in-law of Harold Millar, Port Hill, Andy Saurette, Oxford Mills, Ont.; Loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Verna (Lester) Milligan, Poplar Grove. Predeceased by a daughter, Joan Millar, sons, Robert, Gary, son-in-law, Robert Parry, sisters Lillian, Enid, Evelyn, brothers Edward and Carl. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Wednesday 6-9 p.m. Funeral on Thursday at St. James Anglican Church, Port Hill at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Memorials to the Stewart Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
