Henry H. Stevens - January 13, 1909 - May 31, 2004 - 95 yrs, of Sunset Village and formerly of Harrisville, died peacefully at his residence on Monday, May 31, 2004. Born in Moncton, Henry was the son of the late Thomas P. and Georgia (Burgess) Stevens. He is survived by Edith, his wife of 60 years, two daughters; Roxy and her husband Don Linkletter of Woodstock, ON, Paula and her husband Rick Weber of Port Moody, BC, four grandchildren; Christopher Weber, Kristen (David) Rekker, Bethany and Martha Linkletter, also surviving, his sister Elaine Bingham of Moncton as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Laura and a brother, Thomas. Henry served as a Flt. Sgt. with RCAF during the Second World War. Following his service he was employed as a machinist at the CNR Shops Moncton for 28 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch # 6, the CNR War Veterans Association, the International Association of Machinists, Lodge #594, the CN Pensioners Association, the Harrisville United Church where he served as an Elder and Treasurer. He was a past member of the RCAF Association and Braeside Senior Citizens Federation. There will be no visitation by request. A private Memorial Service will be held. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
