YOUNGBLUT, Mr. Eric Sylvester - passed away peacefully at Rapelje Lodge, Welland, on Sunday October 4th 2009, in his 88th year, formerly of Port Robinson Road. Beloved husband of the late Louise (Fenton) Youngblut (2006). Loving father of Dee & Don (Herb) Cox of Orillia, Leah & John Crocco of Fonthill and Dale Graca of St. Catharines. Dear Grandpa of Tracie, Dawn, Blair and Dennis; Jonathan and Scott; Steven and Alec; and 8 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Rolph and Wilson Youngblut. Eric was a Verteran of the Second World War, a member of the Fonthill Branch 613 Royal Canadian Legion, the Canadian German Club in Niagara Falls and of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Port Robinson. He and his family would express a special thanks to the medical staff and caregivers of Rapelje Lodge for their kind and sensitive care. Friends will be received by family on Tuesday, October 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday, October 7th 2009 at 11:00 am with interment following at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Rapelje Lodge or to the Fonthill Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
