SLUGOSKI, Benjamin - at Northland Pointe in Port Colborne on Friday October 2, 2009 at the age of 98 years. Beloved husband of Anne (nee Wilgosh), loving father of the late Joseph Slugoski, Alice (William) Green of Waterloo and Laurie Slugoski of Welland, father-in-law of Sandra Slugoski of Port Colborne, dear grandfather of Michael Slugoski of Welland, Kim Slugoski of Port Colborne, Kelly Lewis of Welland, Heather (Dan) Arts of Toronto and Ransom (Glenda) Green of Stratford, great grandfather of Brittany Slugoski, Dellany Slugoski, Jesse Green and Aden Green. Also survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Benjamin worked at Maple Leaf Mills for 35 years from where he retired. The Slugoski family would like to thank all of the staff at Northland Pointe for all of their care and assistance and also to Father Brian Bevan. There will be no visitation and cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date with Rite of Committal in Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or a charity of one's choice.
