John D'Arcy CONSTANT

CONSTANT, John D'Arcy - After a long illness, passed away at Leisureworld on Friday, October 2, 2009 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Forbes) Constant, and loving father of John (Debbie) of Vancouver, Janet Baldwin, North Bay, and Robert Constant, Montreal. Grandfather of Nathan and Adam Baldwin, SherryLee, Logan and Candace Constant. Dear brother of Vivian Gallardi (Lundy, deceased) and brother-in-law of Laurie Constant (Ruglas, deceased). Predeceased by his parents Harry Simon Constant and Agnes (Walker) Constant, brothers Vernal and Ruglas, sisters Jean Constant and Marion Smith Jefferson of Spokane, Washington. Fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. John will also be remembered by his friends at the Crisis Centre where he was employed for many years before retirement. He loved the game of golf, was an avid violinist and loved all music and dancing. He was very proud of his involvement with AA and leaves behind many friends. At John D'Arcy's request there will be no visitation. Private Memorial will be held, for family, at a later date. After cremation, ashes will be sent to son John in Vancouver.
