Velma Florence DUNHAM

LAWSON, Velma Florence (nee Dunham) - 1912-2009 - Passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009 at McNally House, Grimsby, in her 98th year. She was pre- deceased by her husband of 69 years, Wilfred ‘Dyke' Lawson in 2005. Loving mother of Jacqueline (George) Thomas. Velma also treasured the special friendship and helpfulness of Leonard and Vera Bailey. Many thanks to the staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital and special thanks to the kind and caring staff and volunteers at McNally House who enabled Velma to die well cared for and with dignity. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Friday, October 9, 2009 from 10:30 am until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 11 am.
