THOMAS, James “Jimmy“ - Peacefully on Sunday, October 4th, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at age 67. Best friend and companion of Grace Edwards for fifteen years. Also survived by brothers Peter, Aubrey, Terry and Mark as well as many nieces and nephews. Jimmy was retired from Abitibi Paper Mill for 9 years, and was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17 (Thorold). Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Thursday, October 8th at 1:00 pm. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
