Ramona Fernandez - January 01, 1926 - August 24, 2004 - 78 Years. Died on August 24, 2004 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Western Campus. Beloved husband of Adeline (nee Rodriguez) of Detroit. Loving father of Melissa Fernandez-Carbonell and husband Jordi of Ferndale. Dear brother of Maria Gonzalez of Gijon, Spain and predeceased by Ramona Fernandez. Mr. Fernandez was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Detroit. By family request, there will be no visitation. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held in Detroit at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, Ontario (519-253-5225). A tree will be planted in memory of Ramon Fernandez in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2004.
